Ah yes! it’s that time of the year again, when the weather starts to transition and shift and the layering of clothing becomes a lot thicker, more textured. Autumn in the U.K. can be really confusing though, well… weather in the U.K. is confusing in general, but finding the right pieces to wear can be a challenge, that’s why you tend to see some people wearing tank tops and hoodies walking in the cold like it’s nothing, while others in puffer jackets and scarfs wrapped up so far up their face they could hardly breathe (ok maybe thats an exaggeration) but I think I was able to kept the balance between the two.
When it comes to transitional dressing for Autumn, I tend to keep it simple, why complicate it? it’s all good being a fashionista and all but what’s more important is that you’re warm enough and not ready to catch a cold the second you step out the door. Call me an old soul, but that’s always been my philosophy anyway *shrugs*. Out of all the seasons, Autumn has to be one of my favourites… after Summer and Spring that is.
