It’s been a long time since my last post and seeing as it’s a new year, I also have some new additions to my skincare regimen. As I’ve stated before, I don’t use a lot of products as I personally feel that using too much can suffocate the skin, after all it needs to breathe! Here are my current skincare favourites of the moment.
1. Poppy Austin 100% Pure & Organic Rose Water
A lot of people wouldn’t really think to use rose water for skin benefits, but let me tell you this stuff is way better than most expensive products. This is hands down, one of the best natural remedies for your skin (well in my opinion!). I mainly use it after I wash my face and it really helps to tighten pores and clam the skin, it can also be used as a toner. After using this I immediately could feel and see the results, I highly recommend this product and it’s really inexpensive!
2. Mario Badescu Gylcolic Foaming Cleanser
Like many people this winter I had been getting dry skin here and there, and it seemed to be really stubborn and come back no matter how much times I moisturised. But using this product, I can say that it has greatly reduced this problem. Seeing as it has Gylcolic acid, which is known for breaking down dead skin cells to reveal the new skin underneath it really helped. In result it has reduced some discolouration and evened out my complexion! I only use this 2 to 3 times a week with my spin brush, as over using it could cause your skin to dry too much.
3. Be Youthful Organic Reship Oil
Rosehip Oil has to be one of the best alternatives to moisturizer. It’s one of the best things that I have discovered for my skin. It’s locks in moisture, helps with hyperpigmentation and is great for sensitive skin. What I love about this is that it acts more like a serum, it keeps your face moisturised but it doesn’t leave any greasy residue. Highly recommend this, one of my top favourites for this year.
4. Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay
This has been a favourite of mine for years now. For me, this is better than any expensive skin facial and the best part is that you get a lot of product for such a inexpensive price. I usually mix this with apple cider viniger and it’s amazing! When the mask is on it tightens and pulsates on the skin, helping to reduce pores. I personally leave it on my face for about 30 – 40 minutes and then rinse with warm water and it just leaves the skin feeling refreshed and squeaky clean. It’s hands down one of the best facial masks you could buy.
So those where my current skincare favourites, I’ll definitely will be doing more of these. What skincare bits have you been loving recently? Have you tried any of the products mentioned? Until next time! 🙂
